Den #5 of Cub Scout Pack 24 has now completed the planting of three flower beds that are beautifying the grounds at Dorothy Nolan. And they saved the planting around the flag pole for last. All the plantings are lovely but the flag pole will be the center of attention for our Dorothy Nolan Flag Day Celebration June 14. So our cub scouts saved the planting until last to give it even extra-special attention featuring red, white and blue petunias. Just the right colors for a flower bed around a flag pole at a Wilton school. Members of Den #5 guided by Den Leader Shelli Garhartt and Assistant Den Leader Susan Palumbo were Andrew Kopf, Steven Garhardtt, Colin Palumbo, Tyler Bates, Michael Vail, Matthew Glaim, Luke Noll and William Price. Adult helpers assisting: Patty Kopf, DeAnn Price and Jeni Roberts. Although Pack 24 and Den#5 are based at the Dorothy Nolan School and are sponsored by the Dorothy Nolan HSA (Home School Association), any boy interested in cub scouting is invited to join. Boys do not have to attend Dorothy Nolan. |
