	Nancy Sanders runs Courage for Cancerv half-marathon Sunday September 2 in Virginia Beach to aide cancer research     Nancy Sanders of Kings Mills Estate in Wilton will be joining over 2,000 runners to support Courage for Cancer in the Rock-n-Roll Half Marathon September 2 in Virginia Beach, Virginia.     Courage for Cancer is the Entertainment Industry Foundation's program to raise funds for the National Women's Cancer Research Alliance and Friends of Cancer Research.     Nancy says her mother, Karen Campola, Wilton resident and Saratoga County Historian, is a breast cancer survivor and that has convinced her of how important it is to fight cancer.
	She says, "I am healthy and I can run and I can get pledges to support my efforts." Nancy has a personal goal of raising $2,700 with hopes of increasing that to $5,000. And Nancy is doing more than just getting pledges. She is collecting bottles and cans throughout the summer. Drop them off at 12 New Kent Drive (off Traver Road). Nancy will pick up on weekends - call 580-9575 and leave by mailbox.     The pictures are from Nancy's barbecue/bakesale/and raffle held Saturday July 21 at the Mobil Mini Mart at Exit 15. Nancy was there from 11to 3 with her Wilton friends and Everglades BBQ (healthy contribution from every baby back ribs lunch special sold). Ken (Everglades owner) had his new bride (just back from the honeymoon) helping.     Nancy thanks Ken, Dave and Sandy from Everglades, Kathy Forbes, manager of the Mobil Mini Mart, and her staff for their total support, Gambles Bakery and Rock Hill Bakery for their donations and everyone whohelped at Saturday event. Nancy will continue to have raffle tickets available.     Nancy continues the effort this weekend: GREAT GARAGE SALE FRIDAY AND SATURDAY 9-4pm at 12 NEW KENT DRIVE     All items donated and all proceeds go to Courage for Cancer.
